Theodore Frazier

Read biographical sketch written in 1877.

Born in 1799 in Leyden, Mass. Son of Michael (died January 6, 1852, at age 73) and Sally (Sarah) Page (born 1772, died April 6, 1858 at age 85 years 9 months at son Theodore's home) Frazier. Came to Lake County in 1843. Bought land from federal government. Married Clarissa (Clara) Locke on May 17, 1825, in Edinburg, Jefferson County, N. Y. See tree above for children. School Trustee. Road Commissioner. Justice of the Peace. Retired from farming to live in Waukegan, Illinois. Died January 30, 1884, at age 85 years and 7 months.

Clarissa Locke

Born about 1809 in Mass. Married Theodore Frazier. Died December 24, 1890, at age 85 years and 4 months.

Born in 1827 in New York. Married Lucy Ames on November 11, 1851. Children. School director. Died April 2, 1889 at age 62.

Gilbert

Born in 1839 in Jefferson County, New York. Married Abigail Thayer about November 1, 1861. Children. Lived in Avon Township, Lake County, Illinois. Died at 3:00 p.m. on October 19, 1894 (obituary).

Monroe

Born about 1842 in New York. Died in 1859.

Angeline

Born about 1845 in Illinois. Married Henry H. Dewey about September 8, 1874.

Albert

Born about 1850 in Illinois. Died in 1864.

Theodore

Born August 23, 1859, at Hickory Corners, Lake County, Illinois. Married Nettie G. Paddock on November 12, 1884. She was born in November, 1867, in Illinois, and died in 1955. Children: Laura, born December, 1894; Walter I., born September, 1897, lived in Chicago, died 1978; Maude, born June, 1889. Farmed at Hickory Corners until 1920. Moved to Bluff Lake for five years. Moved to home in Lake Villa. He died June 6, 1929 (obituary).

Thomas W.

Born June 3, 1866, at Hickory Corners, Lake County, Illinois. Married Nancy Jane Webb on June 28, 1891. She was born May 31, 1872, and died in April 1, 1951. Children: Auten, born December, 1892, married Ethel Crawford, had 2 sons; Bertha, born January, 1895, married George May, had 4 children. Lived in Waukegan, Illinois. Thomas died January 27, 1932. Nancy Jane remarried, to Edwin Gillings.
