Mrs. Anna C. Thain
Mrs. Anna C. Thain, 68, of Millburn, Illinois died at 9:45 P. M.
Sunday, March 23, 1969 in Victory Memorial Hospital.
She was born February 20, 1901 in Marion, Iowa and resided in
Chicago before moving to Lake County. Mrs. Thain was a member of
the Millburn Congregational Church and the Ladies Aid of the
church. She married J. Lyman Thain on August 20, 1923 in
Waukegan. She and her husband had operated a farm in Millburn
from 1923 until their retirement in 1964.
Survivors include her husband, J. Lyman Thain, 2 sons, Dr. Alan L.
Thain M.D. of Antioch, John Thain of Clinton, Wisconsin, 6
brothers, Norman Christensen of San Francisco, California, Albert
Christensen of Tampa, Florida, Harry Christensen of Clearwater,
Florida, Arthur Christensen of Baldwin Park, California, Charles
Christensen of White City, Oregon, Otto Christensen of Antioch, 2
sisters, Mrs. Camilla (H. E.) Rowling of Waukegan, Mrs. Agnes
(Norman) Petersen of Antioch, and 6 grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Wednesday, March 26,
1969 at the Millburn Congregational Church with Reverend L. H.
Messersmith officiating. Interment will be in Millburn Cemetery.
Friends may call at STRANG FUNERAL HOME, 1055 Main Street, Antioch
after 3 P.M. Tuesday, March 25, 1969 until 11:30 A.M. Wednesday,
March 26. Memorials may be given the Millburn Congregational
Church.
