WOMAN, 83, DIES SUDDENLY HERE
Mrs. Julia Louise Gallagher, Wadsworth,
Victim of Heart Attach.
Mrs. Julia Louise Gallagher, 83, lifetime resident of Lake county died at St. Therese hospital yesterday, following a hip fracture suffered on Sept. 14. Her death, however, was attributed to a heart attack. A coroner's inquest was scheduled for today to determine the cause.
Widow of John Gallagher, who operated a farm near Wadsworth for many years, Mrs. Gallagher had been residing in Wadsworth since the time that her husband retired from his life work. She was born April 18, 1862, the daughter of Xavier and Magdalene Henkle, pioneer residents in the county.
Her husband and five children preceded her in death. Surviving are: Daughters, Mrs. George Cashmore, Mrs. William Armour, Miss Louise Gallagher, all of Wadsworth; Mrs. Fred Brooks and Mrs. Arthur Nelson, Waukegan; sons, John and Carl, Waukegan, and Albert, Roundout; four grandchildren, and five great- grandchildren.
