Mrs. Earl Brochon Simpson, former Waukegan resident and recently of Elmhurst, died in the Elmhurst hospital on Christmas day following a long illness.
The daughter of Mrs. Emma Webb, Mrs. Simpson was born in Waukegan, Sept. 12, 1890, and was married in 1909. She was the former Madeline Webb.
Until eight years ago, the family had resided in Waukegan. Mrs. Simpson was a member of the First Baptist church and was active in the Daughters of the American Revolution. Her husband is employed by the Chicago office of the Public Service Co.
Funeral services were held from Elmhurst chapel today at 2:30 p. m., and the body will be accompanied to Waukegan for final rites tomorrow at 2 p. m., from the First Baptist church. Burial will be in Northshore Garden of Memories.
Surviving, besides her husband and mother, are a son, Kenneth B. Simpson and a daughter, Marilyn, both of Elmhurst.
The family residence is at 384 Cottage Hill Ave., Elmhurst.
