Earle White of Champaign spent a few days at home last week.

Clarence Bonner of Chicago was home for Thanksgiving.

Roy Hughes of Chicago is home for Thanksgiving.

Una Minto has been home for a few days.

Leslie Kane of Chicago took dinner at Elmer Cannon's last Thursday.

Mrs. David White will entertain the Ladies Aid on Thursday December 7.

Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Bain spent Thanksgiving at Evanston.

George Safford of Bowmanville spent Thanksgiving with his parents at this place.

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Mathews took dinner with Mr. and Mrs. A. Webb last Thursday.

The C. E. Business meeting will be held at the home of A. H. Stewart on Friday evening, December 8. Everybody interested is invited to come.

Listen for wedding bells near Christmas

Jeppie Pepson has gone west again. We hear that he has got as far as Nebraska.

Elmer Cannon received word that his father is very low.

It is rumored that Wm. Shope has sold his stage and business to G. H. Harris.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. McGuire spent Sunday with relatives in Hickory.

Mr. Wheaton of Chicago was a visitor here over Sunday.

Mrs. George Miller is very sick with pneumonia. We all hope for her speedy recovery.

The bazaar was a success and was well attended. We have a number of very good poets in Millburn.

On Sunday morning, Dec. 24, in place of the usual morning services there will be exercises by the children and Christmas singing by the choir.

George Safford spent Christmas at home.

Mr. and Mrs. John Bonner and family spent Christmas with relatives in Russell.

Miss Una Minto of Endeavor, Wis., was home for Christmas.

Earl White and Alex Hughes are home for the holidays.

Mr. Ed. and Miss Alice Jamieson spent Christmas at the home of their parents Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Jamieson.

Mrs. Frank Strang of Marshfield, Wis. is spending a few days with Mrs. Geo. Strang.

Miss Vera Worden is teaching school this week in order to make up time lost during the fall term.

Mrs. H. B. Tower and nephew Howard Tower have been spending the past week with Mr. Tower in Chicago.

Christmas exercises were held both in the Hockaday and Dodge schools on --day.

J. S. Denman attended the fat stock show on Wednesday and Thursday last week.

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Mathews spent Christmas day with Mrs. Davison in Waukegan.

Leslie Cannon, Earl Crawford, Ole Ruby and Perle Cleveland, Helen Safford and Margaret White are home from Rochester for a two week's vacation.

Clayton Denman, Loraine and --bert Webster of Highland Park spent Christmas with their cousin Edwin Denman at his place.

Wm. Chope sold his stage and harness to Dr. Jamieson instead of to G. H. Harris as was remored last week. Charles Ames is doing the driving.

Mr. and Mrs. J. A. Strang, Mr. and Mrs. Chris VanPatten, George Gerrity, George Jamieson, George Eichinger, John Eichinger and Theodore Van Alstine attended the fat stock show last week.

Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Bain entertained on Christmas day. The out of town guests were Mrs. Bain's mother, Mrs. Trotter, and Mr. and Mrs. Richard Trotter and little child of Evanston.

John Chope had a very sick horse.

Mr. and Mrs. James Thom, Maud and Willie Thom spent several days in the city last week.

Messrs. Thain, Gerrity and George Jamieson attended the Fat Stock Show Tuesday.

Ed Martin and A. K. Bain were business callers in Chicago Wed.

Mr. and Mrs. Earnest Shepardson are rejoicing over a visitor who has come to stay. A son.

Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Mathews and Mr. and Mrs. Christ Van Patten took in the Fat Stock Show Wednesday.

Messrs. Geo. And John Eichinger, Van Alstine, Jessie Denman Horace Tower were at the Stock Show Thursday.

Mrs. Frank Strang is visiting at Mrs. Geo. Strang over Christmas.

Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Bain entertained for Christmas G. R. Trotter and wife and daughter of Chicago, Bert and Fred and Mrs. Trotter (their mother) of Evanston, Mr. and Mrs. John of this place.

Geo. Safford came home for over Christmas and Miss Helen Safford is home from Rochester for two weeks vacation.

Victor Strang is home from Beloit for the holidays.

Earl White is home from Champaign and Miss Margaret from Rochester for vacation.

Una Minto was in our midst Sunday.

Gussie and Hazel Thain spent Christmas in Waukegan.

Clarence Bonner came home for Christmas.

Roy Hughes, Elex Hughes and Miss Ruby also visited relatives for the holidays.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Mitchell and son Lester of Waukegan spent a few days with Mrs. Mitchell's mother.

The C. E. will have a social Thursday evening of this week.

Lester Cannon, Ole Cleveland and Misses Pearl and Ruby Cleveland and Earl Crawford are home for a two weeks vacation from Rochester.

Gordon Bonner has returned home having spent a week in Chicago.

Mrs. Horace B. Tower and Horace H. Tower have gone to the city to spend a week or more.

Clayton Denman and Robert and Loraine Webster of Highland Park are spending a week with their uncle C. E. Denman.

Mrs. A. E. Stewart, Mrs. Denmans mother is no better.
