MILLBURN.
The melancholy news reached here at noon Saturday of the death of
the wife of Frank Backus, although it was not unexpected as she
had been at the point of death for two or three days. She was
much loved and respected by all who knew her, she leaves a child
two weeks old. The heartfelt sympathies of the community are
with Mr. Backus, "although his loss was her gain."
