Served until May 30, 1865. Married Ann Spaulding on June 18, 1867. She was born about 1845 in Illinois. Justice of the Peace. Lived in Waukegan, Illinois.
Their children are: Frederick E., born about 1870 in Illinois; Nellie A., born about 1875 in Illinois, married Charles Brown; Hattie, born about 1877 in Illinois.
