Mr. and Mrs. V. H. Strang and sons of Waukegan spent Sunday afternoon at L. S. Bonner's.

Miss Ruth Minto spent several days with a friend in Chicago.

John Trotter and son, John, Jr., have returned to their home in Madison, S. D. after two weeks visit with relatives.

Mrs. Warren Hook will entertain the Bridge Club on Friday afternoon.

Miss Genevieve Webb of Waukegan spent several days at the Archie Webb home and called at the D. B. Webb home Thursday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Matt Thomason of Grange Hall called on Mr. and Mrs. J. Kaluf Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. Romney Ashton of Chicago are spending a few days at the D. B. Webb home.

Miss Ruth Edwards returned to Chicago Sunday after spending two weeks at the home of her parents.

Mr. and Mrs. Fuller of Gurnee called at the Marcus Hoffman home Friday evening.

Mrs. Geo. Edwards and Mrs. Eva Alling spent Tuesday afternoon at the E. H. Edwards home at River Forest.

Richard Martin with a number of DeMolays left for Decatur Friday morning to attend the State Conclave and put on degree work at the Conclave.

Marc Edwards of River Forest is spending the summer vacation at the home of his grandparents Mr. and Mrs. D. B. Webb.

Mrs. W. R. Cartano entertained the Bridge Club at her home Friday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. L. S. Bonner and family were guests for dinner at the R. F. Styles home in Evanston on Sunday. Geraldine Bonner remained for a week's visit with her cousin, Margaret Stiles.

The Christian Endeavor Society will hold an ice cream social on the parsonage lawn Friday evening, July 21.

Mrs. Emma Beck of Evanston spent several days with her daughter, Mrs. A. H. Pierstorff. Margaret and Ruth Pierstorff returned home with her on Saturday for a week's visit.

Bernice and Helen Bauman, Grace and Margaret Denman, Grace Holdridge, Ethel McGuire and Evelyn Miller are spending this week camping at the George McCredie cottage on Sand Lake.

Miss Doris Jamison of Chicago spent the week-end with her parents, Dr. and Mrs. H. E. Jamison.

Mrs. H. D. Hughes of Lynn Haven, Fla., who is spending a few weeks in Lake county, spent a few days at the A. G. Hughes home the past week.

Mr. and Mrs. Carl Bruckner and family of Zion spent Sunday evening at Ed Groebli's.

Mr. and Mrs. W. M. Bonner, Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Bonner and Lois spent Sunday afternoon at the R. G. Murrie home at Russell.

Mr. and Mrs. Romney Ashton returned to their home in Chicago on Tuesday after spending several days at the D. B. Webb home.

Stanley Jack and Miss Ruth Strang of Waukegan attended the Young People's services Sunday evening.

Miss Genevieve Webb of Waukegan called at the George Edwards home Monday afternoon.

Mrs. Eva Alling returned home Tuesday after a week's stay at the home of Mrs. Florence Achen at Kenosha.

The July and August Committee of the Ladies Aid Society met at the home of Mrs. J. S. Denman Thursday afternoon and plans were made for a supper at the church on July 27 from 5 o'clock until all are served. The public is cordially invited to this supper, which will be 25 cents.

The Hickory Unit of Home Bureau will meet today (Thursday) at the home of Mrs. D. H. Minto.

David Dodge of Forest Park is enjoying a two weeks' vacation at the home of his aunt, Mrs. Clarence Bock.

Mrs. Jessie Low spent Thursday with Miss Annie McCredie.

Mrs. E. A. Martin spent several days at the home of her sister, Mrs. Florence Achen at Kenosha.

Mrs. J. Kanf and Mrs. F. G. Edwards were callers at the home of Mrs. Matt Thomassen at Grange Hall Saturday afternoon.

Mrs. Eva Alling and D. B. Webb spent Monday and Tuesday at the Earle Edwards home in River Forest.

Alta Denman of McHenry and Dorothy Nielsen of Waukegan spent several days with Mildred Bauman.

Norman Achen of Kenosha spent a few days at the E. A. Martin home.

The Hickory unit of Home Bureau met at the home of Mrs. D. H. Minto on Thursday afternoon with 14 members and 3 guests present. Miss Kimmelshue gave the Major lesson on "Low Cost Meals."

Mrs. Glenn, Sr., from Ohio, is visiting at the home of her son, H. Glenn.

David Dodge returned to his home in Forest Park Friday after two weeks vacation at the home of his aunt, Mrs. Clarence Bock.

Barbara Bock is spending a few weeks with her sisters, Mrs. McBratney and Mrs. Templeton in Chicago.

Miss Alberta Thompson of Hopkintin, Iowa, is spending several weeks with her aunt, Mrs. Cartano.

Richard Martin spent Wednesday afternoon at the Achen home, Kenosha.

Mrs. W. A. Bonner, Ralph McGuire and Roy Bonner spent Monday at Century of Progress exposition.

Many from Millburn attended the miscellaneous shower for Miss Madalyn Sheehan at St Peter's Hall in Antioch Wednesday afternoon.

Mrs. A. H. Pierstorff spent several days with her mother, Mrs. Emma Beck in Evanston and attended the Exposition. Her daughters, Margaret and Ruth, returned with her after ten days' vacation with their grandmother.

Mr. and Mrs. F. G. Edwards spent Sunday afternoon at River Forest and Garfield Park.
