Mrs. Milton Wiese of Berwyn, Mrs. Crockett and daughters of Chicago, and Mrs. Leslie Cannon of Gages Lake called on Millburn friends on Tuesday.

Mrs. Dalrymple of Lake Villa returned to her home Saturday, after spending two weeks at the Jamison home.

Miss Una Minto left Sunday for a two weeks visit with friends in Detroit, Mich.

Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Eusden and daughter, of Grinnell, Iowa, spent several days at W. A. Bonner's and called on old friends.

Mr. and Mrs. Robert Bonner and sons, and Miss Olson spent Sunday at Kansasville, Wis., with Mrs. Bonner's parents.

Miss Inez Pollock of Chicago spent the week end at the Jamison home.

Mr. and Mrs. Howard Garby and daughter of Chicago and Mr. and Mrs. Simeon Ames and daughter of Gurnee spent Sunday at Gordon Bonner's.

Harold Yukel of Chicago, spent Friday with his family at the Strohal home.

The Christian Endeavor society will hold an open air meeting at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Piersdorff on Sunday evening, Aug. 7.

Robert Jamieson of Detroit, Mich., is spending a few days with his brother, Geo. Jamieson.

Geraldine and Lyman Bonner spent Wednesday and Thursday at the home of their aunt, Mrs. Victor Strang in Waukegan.

Mr. and Mrs. Wilmer Hook and son of Gurnee spent Sunday at Warren Hook's.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Warren Edwards, a son on Aug. 5.

Mr. and Mrs. Torfin entertained company from Chicago Sunday.

Mrs. L. E. Gillings and daughter left Saturday to visit Mrs. Gilling's sister in Oregon.

The Misses Alice and Florence Stewart of Morgan Park spent the week end at the home of their aunt, Mrs. James H. Bonner.

Mr. and Mrs. Ralph Yukel and daughter returned to their home in Chicago Sunday after spending two weeks with their aunt, Mrs. Strohal.

The Ladies Aid are planning a summer bazaar to be given when the new road is opened. A cafeteria supper, bakery sale, fancy work, and a good program will be given. Watch for the date.

John LeVoy returned to his work in Chicago Monday, after spending two weeks vacation with his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Scott LeVoy.

Mrs. Frank Edwards spent the past week with her mother, Mrs. Kaluf at Druce's Lake. Mrs. Kaluf had an operation on her eye, which is improving nicely.

Miss Mary Ralph of Chicago is spending some time with her sister, Mrs. Wayne Clark.

Harold Slocum spent the past week with his cousin, Meade Walker of Bristol.

Mrs. Anna Lamb spent several days with Mr. and Mrs. H. D. Hughes at Gurnee.

Kenneth Denman and Ralph McGuire enjoyed several days vacation at the home of their uncle, W. S. Denman, in Waukegan.

Miss Jean Bonner returned home Tuesday after spending a few days with friends in Park Ridge.

Mrs. L. J. Slocum and Howard returned home Saturday from a week's auto trip in Michigan.

Mrs. Jessie Low is spending two weeks with her nieces, Mrs. Mayer and Miss Forsythe, in Chicago.

Mr. and Mrs. Gordon Bonner and children called on the Clark and McDougall families at Grayslake Sunday afternoon.

Mr. and Mrs. W. A. Bonner and Ethel McGuire left Wednesday by auto for Grinnell, Iowa, to visit Mr. and Mrs. H. J. Eusden.

Miss Una Minto returned Wednesday from several week's visit with friends in Michigan.

Mrs. Mina Gilbert returned to the home of her daughter. Mrs. Horace Culver of Lake Villa, after spending two weeks with relatives at Millburn.

Mr. and Mrs. Frank Lucas entertained company from Chicago Sunday.

Mrs. Low returned to her home Friday, after visiting in Chicago for two weeks. Her niece, Mrs. Mayer and daughter, accompanied her home. Mr. Mayer also spent several days of his vacation at the Anderson home.

Mr. and Mrs. W. S. Denman and son of Waukegan and Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Denman drove to Milwaukee Sunday.

Mr. and Mrs. Strohal and Lillian spent Sunday in Libertyville with the Johnson family.

Mr. and Mrs. Warren Hook, and Mr. and Mrs. L. J. Slocum drove to Aurora Wednesday and attended the fair.

T. D. Kidd of Libertyville called on friends here Sunday.

The Ladies Aid society will hold their summer bazaar at the church Friday evening, Aug. 26. Any donations for the bakery or candy tables, or fancy articles will be very acceptable. Cafeteria supper at five o'clock until all are served. Mr. Kaye of Long Lake will give a short entertainment with bag-pipe music and singing at 8 o'clock.

Mr. and Mrs. E. A. Martin and Richard, Mr. and Mrs. Lyman Thain, Mr. and Mrs. J. S. Denman and sons, and Ralph McGuire attended the fair at Aurora Thursday.

The road contractors are putting in a cement driveway from the road to the garage at Millburn school. The road is now open to the public.
