Miss Carrie Bater returned from Antioch last Friday.
G. H. Harris' mother of Chicago is here visiting.
Mrs. Cropley of Antioch was visiting with Mrs. Dodge last week.
Mrs. Starkweather of Rockford was here for a few days last week visiting old friends.
Mrs. Jeanette Mathews returned Friday from Kenosha where she has been visiting with relatives and friends.
The monthly song service will be Sunday evening, Nov. 5. A good turnout is expected.
The marriage of Miss Alice E. Dodge, daughter of Mrs. Sarah Dodge, to Clarence Bock took place on Thursday, Oct. 26, the ceremony being performed by Rev. F. T. Lee of Maywood, assisted by Rev. A. W. Safford of Millburn. Miss Vera Worden acted as bridesmaid and Mr. Allen Bock of Libertyville as best man. Only the immediate relatives were present. The out of town visitors were Mr. and Mrs. John Buss, Mrs. Axtell and Mrs. Leslie Kamper of Rochester, Wis., Mrs. Tukey and daughter of Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. David White, Mr. and Mrs. Harold Minto and Bertha White of Loon Lake, and Miss Emma White of Michigan. They received many pretty and useful presents. Mr. and Mrs. Bock went on a short wedding trip and are at home to their friends at Mrs. Sarah Dodge's. Congratulations.

At the home of Mrs. Sarah Dodge Thursday, Oct. 26, 2 p. m.
occurred the marriage of her daughter, Alice E. Dodge to Mr.
Clarence Bock.
The ceremony was performed by Rev. F. T. Lee, of Maywood and
assisted by Rev. A. W. Safford.

Libertyville as best man. Only the immediate relatives were
present. The out of town visitors were Mr. and Mrs. John Buss,
and Leslie Kemper, of Rochester, Wis., Mrs. Tukey and daughter, of
Chicago, Mr. and Mrs. David White and Mr. and Mrs. Harold Minto,
of Loon Lake, and Miss Emma White of Michigan. They received many
pretty and useful presents.
Mr. and Mrs. Bock went on a short wedding tour and are at home to
their friends at Mrs. Sarah Dodge's. Congratulations.

Mrs. J. H. Strang and Mrs. Geo. Strang will return this week from Kansas.
Mrs. Denman's mother Mrs. A. E. Stewart, has returned to Washington, D. C.

Mr. Starkweather, of Rockford, is again in our midst, looking after his usual business, selling pianos.
Mrs. Pantell visited with Mrs. Dr. Tombaugh, of Waukegan, the past week, and also visited in Chicago.
Mrs. Starkweather, who has been spending a week here visiting friends, has returned to Rockford.
Mr. and Mrs. George Gerrity gave a dinner last Sunday in honor of the twin's fourth birthday, James and Louise.
Miss Kate Gerrity, of Waukegan, is out for a few weeks visiting her brother and other relatives.
The many friends of Miss K. L. Smith will be pleased to learn that she is steadily gaining.
Husking corn in the field will soon be a thing of the past. The shredder has taken the place of all that work.
The Millburn Congregational church will give an entertainment of home talent, assisted by Mr. N. D. Pratt, for Thanksgiving.

Ernest White is home for a week's visit from the west.
The many friends of Miss Kittie Smith will be sorry to learn that she is not so well.
N. D. Pratt came out Saturday and returned to his home in Evanston on Sunday.
Dr. and Mrs. Tombaugh of Waukegan were out last Sunday to W. B. Stewart's.
Mrs. Mary Yule spent last Thursday with her daughter, Mrs. Gerry, in Waukegan.
Mrs. George Strang and Mrs. John A. Strang have returned from their visit in Kansas.
Mrs. Frank Yule of Somers, Wis., has been visiting with her daughter, Mrs. Jas. Thom.
Mrs. Robert Strang clebrated her 86th birthday on Friday, Nov. 10 All her children were with her.
Mrs. Adams and daughter Bae of Chicago were visiting with Mrs. Pantell this week.
John Trotter and Miss Lucy Spafford attended the funeral of their cousin, George Junson, in Evanston last week.

Mr. Burns of Rochester, Wis., was here visiting with Geo. Dodge the latter part of last week.
Mrs. Ralph Taylor and little son Glenn, of Lily Lake, are spending a weeks at the home of her parents, Mr. and Mrs. A. H. Stewart.
Mr. and Mrs. Newton Leroy and children of Burlington were here Saturday and Sunday visiting with Mrs. Leroy's father and his sister, Mr. Etta Wienecke.
The C. E. society will give a box social in the church on Friday evening, Nov. 24. Everybody come and bring a box with lunch for two.
A Grand Ethopian concert troup will give an entertainment at Millburn Thanksgiving night. Leader Mr. Nicodemus Daniel Pratt of Evanston.
George Judson, son of Mrs. Trotter Judson, of Evanston, died Tuesday, Nov. 14, of tubercolocus at the home of his mother. Mr. Judson was a cousin of the Trotters and Mrs. A. K. Bain.
Rev. and Mrs. A. W. Safford are to spend a few days in Boumanville this week. He has been invited to take part in the ordination of a new minister who is his successor at that church. The church here sent Mrs. Safford as a delegate.
George Dodge and Clarence Bock have bought land in western Canada and will make that their home. We are sorry to lose them as friends and neighbors, but all wish them well in their new possessions.
Miss Minnetta Denman, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Denman, and W. Guy McGuire, son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. McGuire, were quietly married at the home of the bride's parents on Wednesday, Nov. 15, at high noon, Rev. A. W. Safford officiating. Miss Ethel McGuire, sister of the groom, served as bridesmaid and Jesse Stewart Denman was best man. Only the parents of the contracting parties were present. Many beautiful and useful presents were received. Mr. and Mrs. McGuire will make their future home in Millburn and will be at home to their friends after December 1. Congratulations.

Miss Blanche Loveridge, of Waukegan, who is the county secretary and treasurer, visited our Sunday school last Sunday in the interest of county work.
