Our annual meeting was held February 7, 1984 at 6:30 pm with a potluck supper, meeting and speaker. During the business meeting the nominating committee report was made. The following people were voted to serve on the Board of Selectmen: Dorothy Fettinger, Jill Ballock, Ray Boller and Robert Brooks. The four candidates were voted to serve.
Our speaker for the evening was Jan Smith from the Lake County Museum who gave a very informative program on "Preservation and Conservation of Old Textiles". We enjoyed a display of various old textiles and the beautiful bisque head doll donated by Helen Wolfinbarger and dressed in Beatrice Anderson's baby clothes.
In April a bus load of friends and neighbors enjoyed a trip to visit the Pabst Mansion in Milwaukee and enjoyed lunch at Maders Restaurant.
Memorial Day Services have been scheduled for 2:00 pm on May 28, 1984 at the Millburn Cemetery. The following events will be included in our program - Benediction by Rev.
