Chase Webb

Born on January 7, 1779, in Rhode Island. Son of William (1739-1802) and Deliverance Chase (1742-1802) Webb. Married Mercy Hoxy on September 28, 1800, in Rhode Island. See tree above for eleven children. Carpenter. Died on August 30, 1850, in New York.

Mercy Hoxy

Born in 1779 on Nantucket Island. Married Chase Webb on September 28, 1800, in Rhode Island. Died on February 18, 1847, at Hickory, Illinois.

Charles

Born on September 20, 1813, in Ulster County, New York. Married Lucy Briggs (Biggs?) on January 4, 1835 (1836?). She was born in 1813 in New York and died in 1860. Seven children by Lucy. Married Marville (Marilla?) Bronson on January 20, 1863. She was born November 5, 1830 in Herkimer, New York, and died in 1909. Children by Marville: Genevieve, born about 1865, moved to Waukegan, died in 1935; Josaphine, born about 1868, married Mr. Brown, moved to Dallas, Texas; Ira (B.?), born about 1870, moved to Great Falls, Montana; Lelah E., born in 1872, school teacher, died in June, 1933; Infant daughter, born/died 1874. He died on November 9, 1893, at Hickory, Illinois, at age 81.

Christopher

Born in September 5, 1820, in New York. Married Harriett Bronson on January 9, 1845. She was born April 25, 1827, in Herkimer County, New York, and died on September 10, 1909. Children: Daniel J. (David B.?), born November 1, 1855, married Agness Potterfield, who was born in September, 1855, in England, daughter Mattie born on July 30, 1879; Eva E., born November 28, 1864 (1863?). Came to Lake County in 1845. Road Commissioner. Died about May 18, 1911, at age 90 years, 8 months, and 7 days.

Ira R.

Born June 02, 1823, in Warren, Herkimer County, New York. Married Sarah Jane Potter on October 9, 1844. She was born May 3, 1823, in Herkimer County, New York, the daughter of George and Nancy Potter. She came to Illinois on May 15, 1845. She died January 15, 1911, at age 87 years 8 months and 12 days. Seven children: Mary P., born October 1, 1845, in Illinois, married E. Boylan on July 14, 1868, at Racine daughter and son I. W. Boylan, died in May, 1923, at age 77 years (obituary); Bernard E., born October 09, 1847, in Illinois, died about September 11, 1902; Ruby A. (W.?), born about 1849 in Illinois, married A. H. Stevens, moved to Virginia, Minnesota; Robert Bradley, born about 1851, married Estelle Zunk, was clerk in dry goods store, moved to Crystal Falls, Michigan; George E.; Emma M., born about 1855, married Mr. W. H. Hodge; Ira Chase. Came to Antioch Township in 1845. One founder of Millburn Mutual Insurance Company. Died on December 09, 1902, at age 79 years (obituary).

Helen Louise

Born in October, 1840, -or- on November 25, 1840, at Ithaca, New York. Married Jacob Savage on October 10, 1869. Children: Jeannette, married Mr. Wells; Austin; Mortimore; Lee. Died on her eighty-first birthday, November 25, 1921 (obituary).

Chase Edward

Born in March 16 (26?), 1843 (1842?), at Ithaca, New York. Came to Antioch in 1844. Married Jannet Sarah Minto on November 14, 1865. She was born October 10, 1844 at Loon Lake, Illinois. She died February 18, 1890 (1889?) at Waukegan. Children. Civil War service. Ran Webb and Son coal business. County Sheriff 1886-1900. Civil War service in 96th Volunteers. Supervisor of Avon Township. Chief of Waukegan Police. Married cousin Nancy Webb Taylor Gokey on December 2, 1896 (1897?). She had daughter Aldah Taylor, who married Albert Browne. Died August 24, 1916, at age 74, in Waukegan (obituary).

Born in January 31, 1845, near Antioch, Illinois. Married Emma N. Van Patten about May 22, 1866. She was born in February, 1846, in New York. She died in February, 1923 (obituary). Children: Thomas A., born October, 1865, married Jessie (unknown last name) (born April, 1874, in Minnesota) son Donal born in May, 1899; Lewis, born in October, 1869, died in August, 1879, at age 10 years; Nancy Jane, born May 31, 1872, married Thomas Frazier on June 28, 1891, died April 1, 1951; James, born August, 1875; Florence, born in April, 1880, married David Pullen on March 16, 1898; Birdella, born in August, 1883, married Mr. Schwery, moved to Highland Park. Served in the 153rd Illinois Infantry during Civil War. Moved to Waukegan. Living in Highland Park, Illinois, in 1921. Died about January 25, 1927, near Gurnee, Illinois (obituary).

She was born on October 3, 1872 (1871?), in Waukegan, the daughter of James and Caroline Peck Miltimore. She died in 1953. Children: Chase, born on April 26, 1892, died on December 29, 1892; Lucile Jannette, born on June 23, 1894, died in 1986; infant daughter, born and died on September 30, 1898; infant died in 1908. Ice and coal business. Died in 1937.

Frank Almond

Born on September 26, 1870, at Hickory. Married Emma Adams on January 24, 1890. She was born on July 23, 1871, at Millburn, daughter of John Adams. She died at 5:30 p.m. on July 11, 1947, at Waukegan. Children: Madaleine Arletta, born on September 12, 1890, married Earl Brochon Simpson (born November 18, 1890, in Chicago) on November 2 (3?), 1909, [children: Kenneth Brochon and Marilyn]. Supervisor. Republican precinct committeeman. Died at 7:20 p.m. on June 9, 1932, in Waukegan, following an illness of several months.

Born on January 22, 1873, at Grayslake. Married Louis J. Yager about June 22, 1898. He was born on July 21, 1871, in Warren Township. He was a merchant and one time Mayor of Waukegan. Children: Jean, born and died on September 17, 1902; (adopted) Philip.

Edgar Chase

Born on December 4, 1874, at Grayslake. Married Emmeline C. "Amelia" Holstein on October 28, 1896. She was born in 1874 and died in 1932, in Waukegan. Children: Ethelyn, born on March 27, 1899, at Waukegan; Chase, born on August 21, 1900, at Waukegan. Died on November 2, 1932, at Waukegan.
