WHITE
Mr. George R. White, 80, Hebron, Illinois, died Friday, November 10, 1972 in the Woodstock Memorial Hospital.
Mr. White was born May 2, 1892 in Antioch, Illinois, moving to Hebron in 1945. He was a member of the Millburn Congregational Church and was affiliated with the following organizations: the Antioch Community High school Board of Education, the Oakland Grade School Board of Education, the Antioch Fire District, the Antioch Library Board, the Holstein-Fresian Association A.S.C.S. office in Elkhorn, Wis., was Linn Pier Superintendent, Linn Farmers Club, Mr. White retired from farming 18 years ago and was a bus driver for the Reeks School District for ten years. He married Vida E. Jamison October 24, 1917 in Millburn. She passed away May 11, 1971. One brother, Earl White, and one sister, Mrs. Margaret Denman also preceded him in death.
Surviving Mr. White are two sons, Homer White, Antioch and Robert White, Zenda, Wis.; one sister, Mrs. Bertha Neuman, Gurnee; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be 1:30 P.M. Monday in the STRANG FUNERAL HOME, Antioch. The Reverend L. H. Messersmith of the Millburn Congregational Church will officiate. Interment will be in Millburn Cemetery. Friends of the family may call at the funeral home after 2 P.M. Sunday. Memorials may be made to Millburn Congregational Church in Mr. White's memory.
