Thomas Carnahan, 52, Dies in Home Here
Thomas H. Carnahan, 52, 1017 Poplar st., a resident of Lake county since 1914, died today at his home. He had been ill the last year.
Born in Mount Vernon, Ill., Mr. Carnahan was a retired agent for the Chicago, Milwaukee and St. Paul railroad. A prominent Mason, he was a past master of the Millburn lodge, A. F. and A. M.; a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Millburn chapter; the Waukegan Royal Arch Masons, and the Central Christian church.
Surviving Mr. Carnahan are his wife, Ruth four children, Gail, Robert and Clarissa, Waukegan, and Mrs. Jack Fulton, Los Angeles; his father, J. R. Carnahan, and a brother, both of Mount Vernon.
The Rev. Horace Dunn will conduct the funeral services at the White and Tobin funeral home Saturday at 2 p.m. Masonic services will take place at Greenwood cemetery. The body will be at the funeral home until services are held.
