CHARLES DENMAN DIES AT GURNEE
Resident of Lake County for 48 Years;
Funeral Services Monday Afternoon.
Charles Edwin Denman, 76, for 48 years a resident of Lake county, died last evening at his home in Gurnee after a short illness. He was born in Madison, Ind., April 17, 1860, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Jesse Denman.
Denman lived for six years in Glenwood, Ill., for eight years in Deerfield, 26 years in Millburn, and for the past 14 years in Gurnee.
On Aug. 15, 1883, he married at Lincoln, Ill., to Miss Cora Stewart who survives him. Besides his widow, he leaves also one daughter, Mrs. W. A. Bonner of Millburn; three sons, Jesse of Millburn, Edwin E. of McHenry and W. Schuyler of Waukegan; 12 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; three brothers, Fred of Bellane, Wash., Jesse B. of Wilmette, and Joseph of Waukegan; and two sisters, Mrs. Annie Webster and Mrs. Carrie Gail, both of Highland Park.
The body will rest at the White and Tobin funeral home from noon tomorrow until the services there Monday at 1:30 p. m. (CST) with the Rev. Samuel Holden officiating. Interment will be in the family lot in Millburn Cemetery.
