Mrs. Sarah Thorn, Old Resident, Passes Away
Mrs. Sara Thorn, age 91 years, passed away Saturday at the home
of her daughter, Mrs. W. C. Wedge, Grand avenue, Waukegan. She
was born in Devonshire, England, and for the past 70 years has
lived in Lake county.
The funeral was held Monday afternoon with Rev. Ganster of Christ
church officiating. Burial was at Avon Center.
Mrs. Thorn is survived by six children. Mrs. Will Strang and Mrs.
Wedge of Waukegan; Mrs. Dalziel of Iowa; Mrs. Ed Rowling of
Grayslake; Fred Thorn of Chicago and Charles Thorn of Antioch.
