Miss Inez Pollock of Chicago spent the week end with the home folks.

A. H. Stewart returned from Chicago where he has been visiting the past week.

Mr. and Mrs. Ernest White moved to Libertyville to their new home this week.

Mr. and Mrs. A. K. Bain and daughter Dorothy spent Thanksgiving in Evanston.

Mr. and Mrs. C. E. Denman gave a reunion of the Denman family Thanksgiving day. Guests from Willmette, Zion City, Waukegan, Highland Park and Lincoln, Ill., were present.

Edwin Thom of Bristol was in town the past week.

A. K. Bain transacted business in Chicago Friday.

Born to Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Wedge on Dec. 1, a son.

Rev. and Mrs. Safford spent Thursday and Friday in Wheaton.

Miss Bertha White visited Miss Sarah Browe of Russell the past week.

Mrs. Etta Winecke of Sycamore, Ill., spent several days here recently.

Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Marselis are entertaining their son and wife of North Bend, Neb.

Roy Dawson has returned from Columbus Junction, Iowa, where he has been visiting friends.

Word reached here Saturday evening of the death of Mrs. Wm Thom Sr., of Libertyville. Mrs. Thom made her home here for many years but later went to Libertyville.

A. K. Bain and family spent Sunday at Grayslake.

Miss Foote returned home Friday from Minnesota.

Mr. and Mrs. Warren Marselis have returned to North Bend, Neb

Miss Florence Anderson and friend of Lake Forest spent Sunday here.

Dr. and Mrs. Achen of Kenosha, visited Sunday with Mr. and Mrs. Martin.

L. J. Slocum and family of Bristol, spent Wednesday at the home of Peter Strang.

There will be a Christmas entertainment by the Sunday school Tuesday evening, Dec. 23.

Rev. Safford and Miss Foote's classes gave a party Friday evening at the home of Victor Strang.

Mr. and Mrs. W. J. White went to Templeton, Wis., via auto to attend the 60th wedding anniversary of Mrs. Lloyd White's grandparents.

Miss Vida Jamieson is spending a two weeks vacation at home.

The Hockaday school closed Wednesday for a 10 days vacation.

Leon Strang of Champaign is spending two weeks vacation with the home folks.

Mr. and Mrs. W. J. White returned home Wednesday from their trip to Wisconsin

Miss Lizzie. Stewart of Gurnee is spending several days with relatives in this vicinty.

Rev. Safford and Miss Foote left on Wednesday to spend Christmas at Wheaton, Ill.

Mrs. Jane Jamieson and son George left Tuesday for a week's visit at Charleston, Ill.

Mrs. Mary Mavor of Chicago, Mrs. Lottie Bain of Raine spent Friday with their mother here.

Mrs. Alex Hughes left Friday to spend a few day with her parents at Champaign, Ill., and her husband will follow in a few days to spend Christmas there also.

Ray Eusden spent a few days with the Bonner families on his return home from Yale college at Marne, Iowa, for the Xmas holidays.
