Obituary.
Mrs. Ann Hockaday Gorham, after a long and lingering illness, passed quietly away at her home at Millburn at noon on Christmas day, 1887.
Mrs. Gorham was born in Devonshire, England, Sept. 20th, 1833, and came to this country with her parents in 1840. Since then her home has been in Millburn most of the time. She united with the Congregational church there while in her teens and has ever lived a consistent christian life, working and living for the Master.
The funeral was held in the Congregational church at Millburn Dec. 27th. She was laid to rest by the side of her late husband, Charles M. Gorham, in the Ivanhoe cemetery.
She leaves a son, Leverett N. and a brother and sister to mourn her loss.
