POLLOCK. - At the residence of her son, James, near Millburn, of effusion of the brain, Mrs. Elizabeth Pollock, widow of Mr. Robert Pollock, in the 82d year of her age.
Mrs. Pollock came with her husband to this country from Scotland in 1827. In 1839 they removed to Illinois and to the farm which was her home at the time of her death. She possessed a remarkably vigorous constitution and enjoyed good health 'till about two years ago. Her mental faculties first gave way and her bodily health soon failed.
