March 2003 Newsletter
General Meeting and Annual Potluck Dinner - April 1, 2003
The Annual Meeting and Potluck Dinner will
be held April 1, 2003, at 6:30 p.m. at Lauren
Hall at Millburn Church. Please bring a dish
to pass. There will be an election of Selectmen
following the General Meeting. Four
incumbent candidates whose terms are
expiring have agreed to run again: Jennifer
Andrew, Wolf Berthold, Linda Musak, and
Ruth White. The evening will conclude with a
guest speaker who will make a presentation
on the renovation of the Genesee Theatre in
Waukegan.
In Remembrance
We sadly mourn the loss of the following
members who have recently died: William
"Bill" Revenaugh, Shirley Murphy, and Rilla
Monroe. We will miss them terribly.
2003 Annual Dues
It is time to pay your annual dues. Please
complete and return the form below in the
envelope provided. We thank you in advance.
Donations
The H.M.C.A., Inc. received an anonymous
gift of $1,000 in December, 2002. A great BIG
thank you to that special someone!
In January, 2003, Dorothy Bradford donated
a wonderful selection of antiques to the
museum as she has downsized her home.

Grand Reopening Planned
Martin's General Store and Museum will
reopen Sunday, April 27, 2003. New store
hours are 12:30-4:00 on Sundays only. We are
always looking for volunteer shopkeepers.
Volunteers Needed
We need help cleaning Martin's General Store
and Museum prior to the Grand Reopening.
Workdays will be scheduled on Wednesday
and Saturday mornings. If you are available,
please call Dorothy Fettinger 847-356-5744 or
